The regulation on the threshold score to ensure the quality of input for teacher training and health care has been applied by the Ministry of Education and Training for many years, thereby improving the quality of student training. Candidates and parents should note: the threshold score to ensure the quality of input is the minimum score allowed for candidates to register for admission, not the minimum score to pass the exam.
Accordingly, the admission threshold for teacher training majors in 2025 at the university level is 19 points. For some majors training teachers in Physical Education, Music and Fine Arts, the admission threshold is 18 points (the admission combination includes 3 cultural subjects). Meanwhile, for the admission threshold for preschool teacher training at the college level, it is 16.5 points (the admission combination includes 3 cultural subjects).
For the health sector, with a practice certificate, the admission threshold for Medicine and Dentistry is 20.5 points, Pharmacy and Traditional Medicine is 21 points. Other health sectors, including: Nursing, Preventive Medicine, Midwifery, Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, Rehabilitation Technology, Dental Prosthetic Technology is 19 points.
In 2025, the admission threshold score for teacher training majors at university level will remain the same as in 2024, except for preschool teacher training at college level, which will decrease by 0.5 points. Meanwhile, the admission threshold score for health training majors will decrease by 2 points.
Candidates applying for the teaching and health majors must complete all the steps as for other majors, which are to register their wishes and pay the admission fee on the admission management system of the Ministry of Education and Training. Students who are admitted must confirm their admission on the system, otherwise they will be removed from the admission list.
The deadline for candidates to register and adjust their university and college admission wishes is before 5pm on July 28. After registering their wishes, candidates must pay the admission fee online from July 29 to 5pm on August 5. It is expected that schools will announce the admission scores before 5pm on August 22.
In Dong Nai , in 2025, Dong Nai University will recruit 649 students for teacher training majors, including preschool education (university and college levels), primary education, mathematics pedagogy, literature pedagogy and English pedagogy (university level).
