The Ministry of Education and Training recognizes two correct answers in the English exam.

On the afternoon of July 5th, the National Steering Committee for the 2023 High School Graduation Examination announced that the expert council had reviewed the exam answers and decided that the answers for all subjects would remain unchanged, except for English.

Specifically, the answer to question 50, code 409 (the order of this question may vary depending on the code) in the English exam has two correct options: B and C. Candidates who choose either option will be considered to have selected the correct answer. This recognition aims to ensure the legitimate rights of all candidates.

Previously, immediately after the Ministry of Education and Training announced the official answers for the multiple-choice exams (on the afternoon of July 3rd), many teachers reported that in the English exam, specifically question 31 - code 401; question 46 - code 402; and question 50 - code 409, the question asked for the incorrect answer, and both options B and C were correct. However, in the answer key published by the Ministry, the correct answer was B. This means that if a student answered C (the word that needs correction is "comparative"), they would receive no points.
