The Foreign Ministry spokesperson said that Vietnam has been proactively and actively promoting balanced and sustainable trade and investment cooperation with the United States in the spirit of efficiency, frankness, constructiveness, equality, mutual respect and bringing beneficial results to both sides.

Negotiations between Vietnam and the United States on the US's reciprocal tax policy on Vietnamese exports are underway and specific information will be provided later.
