On October 29, Ca Mau Provincial Police organized a ceremony to present decisions of the Provincial Police Director on the appointment of police investigators in communes, wards and towns in the area.
Accordingly, 32 people who are chiefs and deputy chiefs of commune, ward and town police in Ca Mau province were appointed as investigators. Of these, 16 were appointed as intermediate investigators and 16 were appointed as primary investigators.

The Board of Directors of Ca Mau Provincial Police said that the officers appointed this time have the capacity, experience and qualifications to be appointed as investigators.
At the decision announcement ceremony, Colonel Pham Minh Luy, Deputy Director of Ca Mau Provincial Police, requested investigators to promptly organize the implementation of tasks and powers within the scope of their areas of responsibility, closely following the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code, the Law on Organization of Criminal Investigation... to properly perform the assigned functions, powers and tasks; promptly serve the work of fighting and preventing crimes at the grassroots level.
According to Ca Mau Provincial Police, the appointment of police investigators at the commune, ward and town levels will contribute to improving the effectiveness and promoting the role of the commune-level police in preventing and combating crime; receiving and handling denunciations and reports of crimes, promptly meeting the requirements of the fight against and preventing crime right from the grassroots level. This activity also contributes to gradually building a truly strong, disciplined, elite and modern commune-level police force, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
