Add more subjects to be granted free health insurance cards

Specifically, the new subjects added to the group participating in health insurance paid by the state budget are:

People in safe zone communes and revolutionary safe zones during the resistance war against France and the US who are currently residing in safe zone communes during the resistance war against France and the US have had their information updated in the National Population Database and the Residence Database.

More subjects will be granted free health insurance cards from December 1, 2023.

In which, this subject does not belong to the subjects specified in clauses 1, 2, 3, Article 12 of the Law on Health Insurance.

In addition, Decree 75 also amends regulations on 02 subjects in the group participating in health insurance paid by the state budget, including:

- People eligible for monthly social assistance and benefits according to the law on the elderly, the disabled and social assistance.

- People belonging to poor households according to the poverty standards for the period 2022 - 2025 prescribed in Decree 07 of 2021 and other documents of competent authorities amending, supplementing or replacing.

Decree 75/2023/ND-CP takes effect from December 3, 2023.
