"Green summer" comes to Co Do commune

(CTO) - The "Green Summer" campaign by the Student Union of Can Tho College of Economics and Technology in coordination with the Co Do Commune Union (Can Tho City) left a beautiful impression with many meaningful works and projects.

The campaign includes main groups of activities such as environmental protection (cleaning green - clean - beautiful schools); activities for social security (visiting and giving gifts to policy families and households in difficult circumstances).

The campaign also focuses on participating in new rural construction with the goal of supporting at least 6 hamlets/areas. Activities include repairing roads, clearing bushes, installing community lighting systems; training in transferring science and technology and teaching English and information technology; propaganda and guidance on digital transformation for people.

The activities help students develop social skills; enhance moral and lifestyle education for young people; and at the same time, improve the quality of volunteer activities and movements. Reporters from Can Tho Newspaper, Radio and Television recorded some images:

Can Tho College of Economics and Technology's Youth Union and Co Do Commune Union gave "support to go to school" gifts to students in difficult circumstances in the commune.

Youth Union 2 units launched the youth project "National Flag Road" in Thoi Trung A hamlet, Co Do commune.

The "National Flag Road" project with 80 national flags attached with the logo of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union contributes to creating a green - clean - beautiful landscape on the road leading to the center of Co Do commune.

Young people burn incense to remember the martyrs at the Thoi Dong Heroes and Martyrs Memorial House.
