Meaningful summer
This summer, Phan Hoang Anh and her friends participated in the "Little Miracles" project of the Little House art class, donating their paintings to Da Nang Hospital, Da Nang Oncology Hospital, and Children's Hospital 2 ( Ho Chi Minh City). The medical staff shared that the paintings partly help patients recover their spirits and add more color to the hospitals, especially for young patients.
This year, the project received the support of nearly 3,000 students, 100 teachers, and countless warm hearts. More than 100 vibrant paintings were created, carrying love, encouragement, and positive energy to those who need it most.
Participating in the project, Phan Hoang Anh shared: “This summer is very special for me, because besides learning to draw, I also get to express my feelings through each painting with my friends. I hope that when these paintings are displayed, they will bring joy and more motivation to the patients.”
At the Da Nang Children's Palace, many diverse and engaging summer programs are organized for children. Recently, the "Exploring the World of Technology - Fun Summer Informatics Learning for Children" activity provided children with the opportunity to improve their basic computer skills, stimulate creative thinking, and develop problem-solving abilities through applied lessons. In particular, children also participated in the Informatics "Golden Bell" competition, an environment where they could confidently express themselves, connect with friends, and discover their own technological potential.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Cuong (Thanh Khe ward) expressed: "Thanks to beneficial playgrounds like this, my child has a meaningful summer, learning and having healthy fun, while also limiting their use of phones and social media."
Diverse playgrounds
In Hoa Cuong ward, playgrounds and activities are organized to equip children with knowledge and skills to prevent diseases, abuse, violence, social evils, and injuries.
In parallel, the children are also educated about historical traditions, ethics, and laws; participate in recreational activities, physical training, skill development, environmental protection, and building a civilized urban lifestyle.
For example, organizing reading spots in residential areas, community centers, and schools, open for at least 8 hours a day; the "Exciting Summer - More Fun with Exercise" festival, bringing together over 200 young people with activities such as: "Steps of Unity," "Thread-Through Rings," group jump rope, sack race, ring toss...; friendly football tournament; the "Radiant Vietnam" grand game journey…
According to Le Vien Thanh, Secretary of the Hoa Cuong Ward Youth Union, the unit selects forms and types of recreation, entertainment, and sports activities suitable for children's age groups. Through these activities, they hope to attract and promote children's participation, create opportunities for them to develop skills, improve their health, and have a truly beneficial and safe summer.
Recently, the Cam Le Ward Youth Union launched the "Cam Le Youth Power" Club with over 70 members, operating under the motto "Youth Power - Creativity - Contribution". The club was established to bring together dynamic and enthusiastic youth union members who enjoy volunteer activities, skill development, culture and arts, sports, and other hobby-based activities.
According to Le Thanh Hai, Secretary of the Cam Le Ward Youth Union, in the summer of 2025, with the spirit of "Where there is a need, the youth are there; where there is difficulty, the youth are there," the Ward Youth Union proactively innovated its methods, applied digital technology, and promoted the energy and volunteerism of young people to organize many practical activities such as the "Green Summer," "Red Phoenix Flower," and "Supporting the Exam Season" campaigns; the "Green, Clean, and Beautiful Sunday" program; youth volunteer teams assisting people with administrative procedures; visiting and giving gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and caring for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; organizing voluntary blood donation, along with many other meaningful models and activities.
In the coming period, the Cam Le Ward Youth Union will continue to innovate the content and methods of its activities, promote the application of digital technology, diversify playgrounds for young people, and contribute to building a generation of dynamic, creative, and responsible youth.
