
A total of 52 tons of goods and cash worth VND886 million were handed over to flood victims in Quang Son, Dan Tien, Van Han, Nam Hoa communes (Thai Nguyen province) and My Thai, Tan Yen communes ( Bac Ninh province), through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Red Cross Society and local authorities.
Many volunteer clubs in the province have actively participated and made great contributions to this support campaign. Typical examples include: Tam Thanh Volunteer Club supported 14 tons of goods, worth 245 million VND; Tam Bang Huu Quang Ninh Club mobilized 4 tons of goods worth 68 million VND and 50 million VND in cash; Quang Yen Charity Club contributed 12 tons of goods, worth 210 million VND; Dong Trieu - Quang Ninh Team supported 10 tons of goods, worth 110 million VND; 24h Blood Bank Club supported 2 tons of necessities and 100 sets of environmental sanitation tools, worth 15 million VND...

In addition to material relief activities, from October 8 to 9, 2025, the 116 Rescue Team (Quang Ninh Branch) under the Provincial Red Cross Society promptly deployed forces directly to some flooded areas in Thai Nguyen province to support rescue work; evacuate people to safe places and transport necessities to isolated areas.

The above activity aims to implement the policy of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province on supporting people in localities affected by storms and floods. The Red Cross of Quang Ninh province has called on clubs and volunteer teams that are engaged in humanitarian and charitable activities in the province to organize relief activities and support people in some northern mountainous provinces that are being severely affected by the circulation of storm No. 11 (storm Matmo) and the floods caused by the storm.

The timely and practical activities of the Quang Ninh Provincial Red Cross and volunteer teams and groups have promoted the spirit of solidarity, mutual love and mutual assistance; contributed to sharing difficulties and helping people in flood-affected areas to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Currently, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province and the Red Cross Society of Quang Ninh province continue to call for and mobilize resources from organizations, individuals and philanthropists inside and outside the province to support people in flood-hit areas, especially localities that are suffering heavy damage caused by natural disasters.
