Model of twinning of Youth Union bases: Promoting the responsibility of youth

DNO - Tam Anh Commune Youth Union and Tay Ho Commune Youth Union have just established a twinning relationship with Ben Giang Commune Youth Union to strengthen coordination, support, and improve the quality of Youth Union activities and youth movements.

Mr. Huynh Minh Phat, Secretary of the Tam Anh Commune Youth Union, said: "The twinning model between Youth Union bases in the period of 2025 - 2030 aims to promote the spirit of vanguard and volunteerism of young people; strengthen cohesion and mutual support in Youth Union work and youth movements."

According to the plan, the coordination program will be implemented over 5 years (September 2025 to September 2030), focusing on peak activities such as: "Winter Volunteer", "Spring Volunteer", Youth Month, "Summer Youth Volunteer" campaign...

Mr. Bhling Ui, Secretary of the Ben Giang Commune Youth Union, said that the twinning activity aims to reduce the gap in living conditions, infrastructure and development opportunities between regions. At the same time, it directly brings practical benefits in terms of social security, livelihoods and facilities to people, especially young people in remote areas.

In addition, the three units coordinate to organize activities to support young people in starting and establishing businesses; promote the application of science and technology in production, and increase income for union members and young people.

Tam Anh Commune Delegation and Tay Ho Commune Delegation will share experiences and support Ben Giang Commune in poverty reduction and new rural construction; mobilize resources to build gratitude houses, solidarity houses, public works and support the implementation of socio -economic development models suitable to local conditions.

Three units coordinated to organize scholarships, warm clothes, and school supplies for students in difficult circumstances; organize free medical examinations, medicine distribution, and "Zero-VND Market" for people.

At the same time, the movements of "Volunteer Saturday", "Green Sunday", propaganda of law, traffic safety, and prevention of social evils are maintained regularly, contributing to spreading the spirit of responsibility among union members and youth.

In the field of economic development - startups, units organize tours to learn effective production models; support the promotion and consumption of OCOP products, agricultural products, craft village products, promoting sustainable socio-economic development.

Focus on training on Youth Union skills, soft skills, digital transformation, helping youth in mountainous areas improve their capacity and effectively apply technology. The three units also organize cultural and sports exchange activities to create solidarity and close relationships.

Mr. Huynh Duc Tri, Secretary of the Tay Ho Commune Youth Union, commented: "This is a model that demonstrates the spirit of sharing and responsibility of the youth; creating a solid foundation for the Youth Union - Association - Pioneer movement to increasingly develop; joining hands to build a civilized, affectionate and sustainably developed city."
