The surplus commune-level officials is 1,405/9,614 people, accounting for 14.49%.

“The primary responsibility lies with the locality. Leaders must review, publicly, democratically, and fairly apply central and local policies to end the problem of redundant civil servants by 2025,” Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra emphasized.
