Minister Dao Ngoc Dung came to share difficulties with the medical team at the mental health care area.

“In the context of only having nearly 60 staff members, but having to take care of more than 500 mental patients, it is a very quiet and heavy job. A family with a mentally ill person is hard enough, let alone each staff member here has to take care of 10 people at the same time. If you do not love the job and do not do it with all your heart, you cannot undertake this special job, no matter how good the regime is,” the Minister shared.

In addition, the Center always maintains a green, clean, and beautiful campus; effectively combines patient care with occupational therapy. This is a model that needs to be maintained, promoted, and expanded in the future.

Minister Dao Ngoc Dung said: In the coming time, the Viet Tri Mental Rehabilitation Nursing Center will be transferred to the Ministry of Health . Therefore, the general spirit is to maintain the status quo, ensuring the rights and working conditions for staff. In particular, it is necessary to perform better the task of caring for and rehabilitating mental patients.

He suggested that the Center focus on adding human resources and creating conditions for staff to continue improving their professional qualifications.
