According to Axios, Prince Khalid bin Salman is expected to meet with White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, Secretary of State Antony Blinken and several senators.
US President Joe Biden and Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman spoke by phone on Tuesday to discuss efforts to prevent the Israel-Hamas conflict from spreading.
Saudi Arabia was among Arab countries to condemn the targeting of civilians and "flagrant violations of international law" in Gaza.
Mr. Biden said the October 7 attack by the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas on Israel was aimed at disrupting the possibility of normalizing relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia.
