Cultivating ideals for youth

Towards the Party Congresses at all levels, Thai Nguyen pays special attention to political and ideological education for union members and youth. This activity aims to foster revolutionary qualities and ideals, arouse the vanguard spirit and sense of responsibility of young people in building and defending the Fatherland. With many diverse and practical forms of implementation, it has helped the young generation to be more aware of their roles, responsibilities and the meaning of their contributions.

The Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union of Thai Nguyen province held a flag-raising ceremony at the ATK Dinh Hoa National Historical Site.

In Phan Dinh Phung ward, union members and youth have promoted their pioneering role through many practical activities, closely related to the daily lives of the people. Notable activities include propaganda activities, instructions on installation and use of digital transformation applications; propaganda on the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; organizing the contest "Children learn about Phan Dinh Phung ward"; and activities of taking photos with the national flag at localities, units and schools.

Ms. Vu Duong Bao Chau, Deputy Secretary of the Phan Dinh Phung Ward Youth Union, said: Each project and youth work is related to the practical needs of the people. The ward Youth Union has implemented safe streets, supported disadvantaged children, shown gratitude to families with meritorious services, etc., thereby contributing to building a civilized urban area, spreading the image of responsible youth, and creating an environment for training and affirming the bravery and pioneering spirit of the youth.

Grassroots activities such as those in Phan Dinh Phung ward have contributed to creating a general atmosphere, joining the flow of movements launched by the Provincial Youth Union. Since the beginning of the year, the Standing Committee of Thai Nguyen Provincial Youth Union has carried out many practical activities to educate the political and ideological views of union members and youth.

The Provincial Youth Union focuses on propagating the glorious history of the Provincial Party Committee and its outstanding achievements in various fields; at the same time, it organizes training courses on the Party's guidelines and policies and the province's major policies, helping young people better understand political, economic and social issues in the country's development process.

Notably, the Provincial Youth Union organized 8 political and ideological activities associated with historical events, such as: Returning to the source at the relic site of the province's first Party base; forum "Thai Nguyen Youth with the task of cultural revival"; praising advanced youth following Uncle Ho's teachings; program "Students with the Fatherland's seas and islands"; activity "Civilized behavior on cyberspace"; implementing the topic of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; summarizing 10 years of implementing Directive 05-CT/TW...

The Party Cell of the Youth Union and Children's Affairs Committee (Thai Nguyen Provincial Youth Union) organized a thematic meeting in August 2025 at the Central Headquarters of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and collected comments on the draft documents of the 1st Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Comrade Pham Thi Thu Hien, Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Youth Union, emphasized: In the preparation period towards the Provincial Party Congress, the Youth Union continues to promote its pioneering role in patriotic emulation movements, especially start-ups and innovation; at the same time, it spreads positive information, resolutely fights against wrong arguments, and protects the Party's ideological foundation. At the same time, the youth participates in propaganda and mobilization to help people understand the goals, tasks and development vision set forth by the Congress.

Not stopping at traditional activities, the content and form of propaganda have been innovated to suit young people in the digital age. Online talk shows, youth forums, and contests to learn about the Party Congress Resolution were organized enthusiastically, contributing to spreading information widely about the preparation work for the 1st Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

At the same time, Thai Nguyen youth simultaneously changed their representative images on social media platforms, creating an exciting atmosphere and arousing the spirit of the Congress. Many cultural and artistic activities, photo exhibitions, journeys to the source, and education on revolutionary traditions were also organized by the Youth Union at all levels in conjunction with propaganda about the Congress.

In mountainous, remote and isolated areas, where socio-economic conditions are still difficult, political and ideological education is given more attention. Youth Union branches flexibly combine political activities with culture, arts and sports; show documentaries about Uncle Ho and the Party's history; invite veterans to tell traditional stories so that members can easily receive and remember them.

In mountainous communes such as Vo Nhai, Pac Nam, Ngan Son, Na Ri, Ba Be, etc., the Youth Union also promotes the advantage of language and ethnic identity to bring the content of the Party's resolution closer to ethnic minority youth. Thanks to that, the Youth Union members better understand their responsibilities in building new rural areas, maintaining security and order, and building a civilized life.

In the exciting emulation movement to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels, Thai Nguyen youth have carried out many meaningful activities. Typical are 11 major programs and projects such as: Inauguration of the "Party flag and national flag route" in La Bang commune; "I love my homeland" festival with a performance by 1,000 students at Vo Nguyen Giap Square; "Proud melody" art festival; program "Thai Nguyen youth are proud - Firmly believe in the Party"; activity "Warm Tet - Happy Spring" for ethnic youth, religious followers...

Youth Month movements associated with Tet tree planting, the photo-video contest "Fragrance of the tea land", digital transformation training conferences or the movement "People learn AI" also created their own mark, demonstrating the creativity and spirit of action of the youth.

Identifying political and ideological education for union members and youth as a continuous task, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee will continue to direct the organization of propaganda, helping union members grasp the province's development policies and goals in the new term. Along with that, promote the Campaign "Thai Nguyen Youth Study and Follow Uncle Ho's Teachings", associated with the movements "Youth Volunteers" and "Creative Youth", to arouse the desire to contribute of the youth.
