The second set saw a clear dominance from the Vietnamese team. The defense system was well organized, counterattacks were quick and accurate. Side shots and blocks were most effective, helping Vietnam win this set 25-20.

Not giving up, the Cambodian team continued to cause difficulties in the third set with a fierce fighting spirit. However, the students of the Vietnamese team still maintained a stable game, especially in the ability to control the tempo and finish the score at the important moment.

The result of 25-21 ended the match with a convincing 3-0 victory for coach Tran Dinh Tien and his team. It is worth mentioning that the Vietnamese boys limited unnecessary mistakes in the first match and performed well in the attack as well as improved the first step to bring home the advantage in points for most of the match.
