These 3,000+ talented individuals are the result of an international talent attraction campaign launched by Techcombank in the US and Paris (France). In France, the recruitment was coordinated with strategic partners in the ecosystem - One Mount and Masterise Group.
"Ecosystem" version: Expanding opportunities for Vietnamese talents
Launched in 2022, the Overseas Talent Roadshow has become a recruitment initiative that bears Techcombank's unique mark in the journey to find and connect Vietnamese talents globally. 2025 is the first year the campaign is deployed under the "Ecosystem" version - with the companionship of One Mount and Masterise Group, expanding career opportunities to a variety of other fields and industries such as finance, technology, real estate to meet the human resource needs of the Techcombank ecosystem during this period.
In the context of prioritizing ecosystem expansion, the demand for high-quality human resources is also constantly increasing, both in quantity and professional requirements. Not only focusing on finding Vietnamese human resources in Asian markets, Techcombank and the ecosystem have shifted their focus to new and more challenging markets, such as the US and European countries. These Vietnamese-origin talents, when returning, will contribute to creating new growth drivers in the ecosystem, continuing to become the core force promoting the strategy of "leading change" and consolidating Techcombank's pioneering position in the financial and banking market.
Catching the wave of talent in new fields
If in the past, Techcombank focused on attracting experienced talents in the fields of technology, data, and digitalization to build a foundation and create a premise for a comprehensive digital transformation journey, now, Techcombank and its ecosystem are expanding opportunities for potential domestic and foreign candidates in many new fields such as business, life insurance, non-life insurance, real estate, investment, project management, infrastructure development...
The vision of the ecosystem is to build an integrated platform - synchronous, smart and seamless, fully meeting all needs from consumption, housing to finance - not only with products, but also with truly different living experiences, driven by technology and data. Accordingly, to realize this vision, especially in a dynamic business environment like Vietnam, the human resources must not only be good at expertise but also have a deep understanding of local culture, consumer behavior and psychology - factors that are not easily "imported" from other countries. Therefore, the ecosystem is in great need of talented people with practical experience in industries that have a long history in developed countries.
Sharing about human resource strategy, Mr. Jens Lottner - General Director of Techcombank said: "Our campaign to attract international talent is increasingly promoting its strengths, especially when expanding to large labor markets such as the US, France and many countries with developed economies and finances".
According to Mr. Lottner, the personnel that Techcombank is targeting in these recruitment campaigns are “people who have worked at large banks, have experience in financing and managing multi-billion dollar projects. And it is in centers like Los Angeles, Paris - or more broadly, the whole of Europe - that this human resource is increasingly suitable for the rapid and strong development of Vietnam in general, as well as of Techcombank and its ecosystem in particular. We are committed to creating all conditions for them to return, find opportunities for development and advancement right in their homeland - in a working environment recognized as a 'Great Place to Work', not inferior to Singapore, London or Silicon Valley", Mr. Jens added.
Not only does the campaign focus on recruitment, it also creates a valuable connection space between the overseas Vietnamese community and Techcombank’s senior leadership team. Direct sharing from the CEO, Division Directors and HR representatives helped attendees gain a deeper understanding of the organization’s orientation, culture and long-term strategy.
Candidate Khang Tran, who attended the event in France in early July, commented as follows: “This was a truly meaningful and successful event. I really appreciate the opportunity to listen to Techcombank’s development strategy and future direction, as well as to update a lot of new information that I had never known before. In particular, being able to directly talk with the CEO and senior leaders, and HR representatives helped me better understand the bank’s vision. The atmosphere of connecting with the Vietnamese community in Europe also left me with many positive emotions. I believe that anyone interested in the development of Vietnam should participate in events like this.
When Vietnamese DNA blends into the spirit of development for the country
What Techcombank and the ecosystem are especially looking for are people who possess the “startup spirit” - creative thinking, the ability to lead a team and are ready to take on challenges in a volatile environment.
According to Mr. Jens Lottner: “In the US, the entrepreneurial spirit is nurtured through each generation, forming the concept of “American spirit” - they see opportunities, know how to seize them and persistently pursue them. Through its special human resources policy, Techcombank wishes to give each employee the opportunity to develop their long-term career at the place they are attached to. Thereby, connecting the spirit and personality of the Vietnamese people with the DNA of Techcombank's human resources and ecosystem. Thanks to that, we will have a very special generation of talents in the future - suitable for the development of Vietnam in the next 5 or 10 years".
Through this series of events, Techcombank has gradually affirmed its pioneering position in the strategy of attracting international talent - methodical, consistent and strategic. This is not just a recruitment program, but an invitation from the homeland to the global talent community - those who have the aspiration to create the future for their homeland Vietnam.
