BPTV launches new digital content channel.

After a trial period, the BPTV digital content channel officially launched on September 1, 2024, on TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook, aiming to provide the public with news and entertainment content, including culture, travel , reviews, behind-the-scenes BPTV content, healing, motivational messages, and more.

As of the end of July 2024, BPTV's social media platforms consistently ranked highly among local Party newspapers with the highest number of followers (according to ONECMS data).

Specifically, BPTV's Binh Phuoc Television TikTok channel, operating at www.tiktok.com/@thbinhphuoc.mcv, ranks first in the top 10 local Party newspaper TikTok channels with the highest number of followers, boasting over 619,000 followers and 6.6 million likes. BPTV's TikTok is also one of the very few Party newspaper TikTok channels nationwide to have received a verified blue checkmark.

Meanwhile, the Binh Phuoc Newspaper fanpage currently has 143,000 followers and the Binh Phuoc Television fanpage has 165,000 followers, ranking 6th among 63 local Party newspapers in terms of audience numbers. BPTV's YouTube channel, operating at www.youtube.com/@truyenhinhbinhphuoc, ranks 3rd in the top 10 local Party newspapers with the highest number of followers, with over 178,000 subscribers. The channel received the silver button and blue checkmark in mid-2023.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Provincial Party Committee member, Director - Editor-in-Chief of BPTV, Nguyen Thi Minh Nham, stated that the explosion of social media and digital technology products, along with AI technology, poses a significant challenge to journalists. The official launch of the BPTV digital content channel not only helps BPTV affirm its position but also plays a crucial role in disseminating official, well-directed information to a wider audience. Simultaneously, it fulfills its political mission, better meets the information and entertainment needs of the people, enhances the agency's prestige and reputation, and contributes to the development of the journalism economy.

BPTV Director and Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Thi Minh Nham acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the 22 officials, employees, and dedicated collaborators in launching the BPTV digital channel to the public. This is also an opportunity for journalists to change and adapt to keep up with trends and get closer to the public.

Thus, from today, BPTV's digital platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook have two channels: Channel 1, which has existed for a long time: Binh Phuoc Television, Binh Phuoc Newspaper, Binh Phuoc Radio, focusing on political tasks, reporting news and events, and current affairs. Channel 2, the new channel: BPTV Digital, providing information on culture, tourism, reviews, behind-the-scenes of BPTV, healing, inspiration, positive energy... This is a new entertainment channel on BPTV's digital platform.
