"Union Meal" connects union members and workers

"Union Meal" was attended by representatives of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union; leaders of the Ministry and all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The "Union Meal" was attended by Vice President of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union Thai Hoai Nam; Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra; Deputy Ministers Trieu Van Cuong, Vu Chien Thang, Truong Hai Long; and all civil servants, public employees, and workers of the Ministry's agencies.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy, Chairwoman of the Ministry's Trade Union, Director of the Department of Planning and Finance, said that "Trade Union Meal" is an activity organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs' Trade Union in coordination with heads of agencies and units under the Ministry on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2024), the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union and the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Traditional Day of the State Organization Sector (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2024).

At the same time, this is also an opportunity to create a peak period of propaganda to celebrate the anniversaries of major holidays of the country, the industry, and the trade union organization (August Revolution and National Day September 2; 79th anniversary of the State Organization Industry's Traditional Day; 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union), thereby attracting, gathering and developing union members, closely connecting union members and workers with the trade union organization. Carry out well the work of caring for the material and spiritual life, aiming to build welfare programs for union members and workers.

Through the organization of the "Union Meal", the attention of the Ministry's Trade Union at all levels, the Ministry's leaders and heads of agencies and units in the Ministry and the positive feedback from union members and workers were shown. Thereby, the role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in taking better care of the material and spiritual life of union members and workers can be seen.
