Present to the Prime Minister the Certificate of "National Gratitude" to Sergeant Nguyen Ngoc Minh Nhat

On the morning of March 14, the Ministry of Home Affairs sent Document No. 320/TTr-BNV to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh regarding the granting of the "Fatherland's Gratitude" Certificate to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Minh Nhat - Sergeant, non-commissioned officer on duty at the Mobile Police Department, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Police, under the Ministry of Public Security.

Previously, Sergeant Nguyen Ngoc Minh Nhat was posthumously awarded the Second Class Fatherland Protection Medal by the President, the Ministry of Public Security posthumously promoted him to the rank of Sergeant, and the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union awarded him the Brave Youth Badge.

According to a report from the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Police, on March 3, while on duty in Ward 7 (Vung Tau City), Sergeant Nguyen Ngoc Minh Nhat died while restraining a subject who was resisting and attacking, causing serious injury to the right chest area.

The unit quickly took Sergeant Nguyen Ngoc Minh Nhat to Vung Tau Hospital for emergency treatment, but his injuries were so severe that he did not survive.
