Outrage over video allegedly showing a motorbike being forced off the road in the center of Ho Chi Minh City.

(NLĐO) – A man riding a motorbike suddenly overtook another motorbike, allegedly forcing it off the road, causing two people to fall.

On December 15th, social media shared a clip allegedly showing a driver forcing a motorbike to stop, causing two people to fall onto the road. The incident was identified as having occurred at 9:13 AM on December 14th on Dien Bien Phu Street, Binh Thanh District (Ho Chi Minh City).

According to the video clip, the man was carrying a passenger on his motorbike on Dien Bien Phu Street, heading from Hang Xanh intersection towards the Nguyen Binh Khiem - Dien Bien Phu roundabout. When he was near Dien Bien Phu bridge, he suddenly accelerated.

This motorbike swerved into the left lane, allegedly forcing a motorbike driven by a man wearing a ride-hailing service uniform, carrying another passenger, to fall to the ground. The man's motorbike did not stop but continued driving.

The clip, posted on social media, has caused outrage.

The Escort Patrol Team (Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police) is currently verifying and clarifying the information.
