Outrageous clip of suspected motorbike being crushed in downtown Ho Chi Minh City

(NLDO) – A man driving a motorbike suddenly overtook another motorbike, causing two people to fall onto the road.

On December 15, social media shared a clip recording a scene of a motorbike being forced to fall onto the street. The incident was determined to have occurred at 9:13 am on December 14 on Dien Bien Phu Street, Binh Thanh District (HCMC).

According to the clip, the man was carrying another person on a motorbike on Dien Bien Phu Street, heading towards Hang Xanh intersection to Nguyen Binh Khiem - Dien Bien Phu roundabout, when approaching Dien Bien Phu Bridge, he suddenly accelerated.

This motorbike swerved to the left lane, possibly forcing another person onto the motorbike driven by a man wearing a motorbike taxi uniform, causing them to fall onto the road. The motorbike driven by the man did not stop and continued on.

The clip posted on social networks caused outrage.

Currently, the Patrol Team (Traffic Police Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police) is verifying and clarifying the information.
