The 2025 version doesn't spend much time introducing the origins of the superheroes, only a short segment summarizing the process of acquiring their superpowers. Instead, the film delves into character establishment, how they unite to deal with enemies, and the importance of family. The superheroes are faced with a difficult choice: sacrifice the child to protect the world or vice versa. After much thought, they are determined to do their best to protect both. They are extraordinary, brave, intelligent, and love each other. The bond and trust between the four is a highlight of the new film.
The film's moderate flow, clear story, not heavy on dogmatic philosophy, not cumbersome, rambling is the next advantage. The film's color, setting, costumes, props... are full of nostalgia, true to the past. The special effects and action scenes are beautiful and smooth. The characters think and act logically, balancing reason and emotion. They constantly come up with plans to deal with the enemy and promptly change to a new plan if they fail. The intelligence and determination of the superheroes make the audience excited, especially the strength and resilience of the mother when protecting her child even if she has to sacrifice herself. Although Sue is a superhero, her maternal instinct is always emphasized, the scene where she uses words to convince the people or when she uses all her power to fight Galactus is proof that she can do what she says. The story is therefore easier to enter the hearts of the audience.
Another valuable detail of the film is that the superheroes actively evacuate people to a safe place before the war, which further emphasizes the human aspect of the film. Therefore, although the plot is safe and predictable, this is still a quality opening of "Fantastic Four". The new plot revelation at the end of the film makes the audience look forward to the next film to see what surprises the superhero couple's son will bring and who the next villain will be?
