Kroos has a new role. |
On March 19th, Volker Struth and Sascha Breese, the two CEOs of Sports360, announced Kroos's new role. This is also the company that has represented and managed the former German football star since 2009. Currently, Kroos will become one of the company's shareholders and will also serve as a professional advisor to the players.
Volker Struth happily stated: "Toni has been a vital asset and a valuable asset to us throughout his career. With his communication skills, football talent, and keen business acumen, he will continue to be an integral part of the company's future."
Sharing his thoughts on this transition, Kroos also said: "We've had a special journey together. I'm proud that this journey continues. I will continue to mentor the players throughout my career and share my valuable experience."
Kroos will retire in July 2024. He will play his final match as Germany loses to Spain in the quarter-finals of Euro 2024. In the past, Kroos was a key member of Germany's 2014 World Cup-winning team and has achieved numerous major titles with both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
After retiring, Kroos dedicated his time to various activities, from modeling and coaching at football academies to organizing tournaments and running his own charity foundation. He admitted that he is even busier than when he was playing.
"My life has changed, but I think I'm working more than before," Kroos once shared. "I'm starting a new job that's more managerial and analytical, and I also have to focus more on personal projects."
