Mr. Pham Van Le, Head of the Secondary Education Department of the Provincial Department of Education and Training, discussed directions and solutions for students to review before the 2026 High School Graduation Examination.
Besides the positive results, the Examination Council also pointed out some shortcomings that need to be addressed. A few candidates arrived late but still adhered to the time regulations; there were still cases of candidates bringing backpacks, bags, and jackets into the examination room. At some examination centers, teachers were still confused in assigning candidate numbers, distributing exam papers, and collecting multiple-choice answer sheets, especially in combined subject examination rooms; errors occurred in checking the marking of exam codes, and signing in the wrong place on the exam paper or multiple-choice answer sheet.
Mr. Ta Thanh Vu, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of the province, exchanged views, discussed, and drew lessons from the 2026 mock high school graduation exam.
Furthermore, allocating exam papers based on the total number of students taking the exam instead of per exam room has resulted in delays in preparing and distributing exam papers to invigilators in some units with many exam rooms, which may not be as timely as in the official exam. These shortcomings have been acknowledged by the education sector to learn from experience and improve the organizational aspects before the 2026 High School Graduation Exam.
Mr. Nguyen Van Nguyen, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau province and Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial High School Graduation Mock Examination Council for 2026, delivered a directive speech at the meeting.
Commenting on the results of the mock exam, Mr. Nguyen Van Nguyen, Chairman of the Mock Exam Council, said that the results accurately reflect the quality of teaching and learning in schools throughout the province. Through this exam, the education sector has a stronger basis for assessing students' abilities, their level of compliance with the 2018 General Education Program, and the effectiveness of the review process conducted in the past period.
| Mr. Nguyen Van Nguyen, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau province, emphasized that from now until the official High School Graduation Examination, schools need to focus on implementing three key tasks: enhancing the responsibility of school leaders; fundamentally reforming teaching and exam preparation; and simultaneously implementing comprehensive solutions to support students, especially those at risk of failing to graduate, in order to help them stabilize their psychology, consolidate their knowledge, and confidently enter the exam. |
