Giant whales fly and hunt in the sea of ​​Co Thach

On the morning of May 24, a fisherman was fishing near the coast of Co Thach and discovered a whale swimming close to the water's edge, circling around schools of small fish that were washing ashore.

This person quickly rowed a barrel to run after and captured a video of the whale rising to the surface of the water, creating a spectacular scene between the blue sea and sky.

According to the video, the whale approaches the shore, somersaults with the water current and opens its throat to eat small fish.

According to many old fishermen in Tuy Phong, it is quite rare to see whales in the Co Thach sea area and each time they appear, it brings "good omen", signaling a favorable sea season and a big catch.

"The whale is a sacred animal and is worshiped and believed in by fishermen. Seeing the whale come to shore, everyone is happy, considering it as being blessed.

This year, the whale appeared for 2 or 3 consecutive days, predicting a bumper crop for local fishermen," said Mr. Ba Hung, a fisherman in Binh Thanh commune.

The whale has not yet left shore, many fishermen continue to monitor from a distance so as not to affect the whale's journey.
