Responding to the humanitarian month of 2023, the Red Cross at all levels in the province has implemented many practical and diverse activities to help people in difficult circumstances such as: building and repairing 34 charity houses for poor households, with a total value of 3 billion VND; giving 600 million VND to support livelihoods for families in difficult circumstances; awarding scholarships from the Vietnam Education Development Fund (EDF) to 1,030 poor students who have overcome difficulties, with a total value of nearly 700 million VND.

Representatives of the Provincial Red Cross Society presented funding to support the construction of a charity house for Ms. Dang Thi Tuu, Vu Dong commune, Thai Binh city.

In addition, the Red Cross Associations at all levels also organized medical examinations and provided free medicine for more than 6,000 elderly people with a total value of 200 million VND; organized 3 voluntary blood donations, collected more than 770 units of safe blood, promptly met the needs of emergency and treatment of patients in the whole province... The total value of activities during the humanitarian month of the Red Cross Associations at all levels reached more than 6 billion VND.

The humanitarian month activities carried out by the Red Cross chapters at all levels in the province have provided timely support to people in difficult and disadvantaged circumstances in society, helping them confidently rise up in life.
