Báo Nam ĐịnhBáo Nam Định12/05/2023

Currently, many schools in the province have established specialized clubs to create the best comprehensiveeducational environment for students. Club activities in schools are not only a place for experience but also help students discover, form and practice their own abilities and qualities from an early age; contributing to improving the quality of comprehensive education and building happy schools.

At Hai Trung Primary School (Hai Hau), for many years now, clubs such as Math, Sports , Writing Correctly and Beautifully, Art... have been operating actively and effectively. Mr. Le Trung Hieu, Principal of the school, said: From the effective development and organization of the clubs, in recent school years, the school has always been in the top of the district in terms of comprehensive education quality. At the Math Club, the movement of reading and solving math problems in the column of the Tuoi Tho Math magazine has been loved by teachers and students in the Club, with hundreds of classes and individuals of the school being praised and rewarded. National and international Math competitions in English (SEAMO, TIMO, HKIMO) have attracted many students of the school to participate and won many Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals. The school's Sports Club with its strong sports movement has created an interesting and useful playground for students after regular school hours. The Correct and Beautiful Writing Club helps students improve their writing skills, present their lessons, and make their notebooks clean and beautiful, and practice being careful and patient. The Art Club helps discover and develop students' artistic talents, maximize their creativity as well as their ability to perceive aesthetics... Through club activities, students become more confident and bold, creating motivation to study and strive in all aspects for them according to the goal of comprehensive education. For many years, the quality of the school's mass education has always been among the top in the district, recognized by noble awards: Third-class Labor Medal. At Hoang Van Thu Secondary School ( Nam Dinh city), clubs such as Basketball, Badminton, Soccer, Gym, Dance, Martial Arts, Media... are currently well maintained, attracting thousands of students to participate. Through the organization of clubs, the school has created a useful playground for students outside of regular school hours. The "open" educational environment of the clubs creates positive motivation for students to practice more skills, strive to study and practice better. At the same time, this is also a solution for the school to build a friendly, close educational environment, realizing the school's comprehensive educational goals.

Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted has successfully maintained 18 club models, including 6 academic clubs and 12 hobby clubs, ensuring that each student participates in at least one club in the school. The club models are enthusiastically welcomed by students and enthusiastically supported by parents, because the club is considered a playground to relieve study pressure and enhance knowledge and skills. Through this, students can also experience, apply and immediately improve the knowledge learned in class; develop their own talents in culture, arts, sports, etc. Vu Ha Minh, an 11th grade student at Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted, shared: I like the Arts Club. By joining the club, I can reduce the pressure and stress of studying, practice self-confidence in expressing and speaking in front of a crowd... At Tran Hung Dao High School, there are also 18 active club models, typically: English, Scientific Research, Books and Action, Dance, Arts and Culture, Life Skills, Martial Arts, Event Organization... operated by the School Youth Union...

Currently, thousands of student clubs have been established in schools in the province. According to many teachers in charge of clubs in schools, participating in club activities gives students the opportunity to improve their skills and express themselves in the group. In particular, many students who were originally very shy and timid, but after a period of participating in the club, have acquired behavioral and communication skills, are proactive, confident in expressing their strengths, and boldly express independent thinking. Therefore, in addition to practicing skills, the club is also a place to discover, care for and nurture "core" talents. For example, at Dao Su Tich Secondary School (Truc Ninh), through the clubs: STEM, English, Sports, Mathematics, Physics..., typical factors have been discovered and nurtured to participate in competitions and exchanges organized by the industry such as: Provincial English Speaking Contest, Provincial Science and Technology Competition and STEM Festival, Provincial Phu Dong Sports Festival...

Clubs in schools are an important and practical solution for comprehensive education for students, creating conditions to implement the motto "learning goes hand in hand with practice", maximizing the potential of each individual. However, in order for clubs in schools to operate more effectively, in addition to the efforts of teachers in charge of the clubs, facilities and equipment serving the activities of the clubs are also important factors that need attention and investment. In addition, the construction of diverse forms of club activities associated with expertise according to each topic and theme; close direction and orientation of the board of directors; timely and serious assessment and experience drawing... are also important factors that help clubs in schools to maximize their effectiveness, operate in the right direction, and become an ideal form of activity and study for students outside of regular school hours./.
