Song Tri Ward has effectively implemented the "four on-the-spot" principle: on-the-spot command, on-the-spot forces, on-the-spot equipment and supplies, and on-the-spot logistics. Vung Ang Ward has issued official documents and directives, and is inspecting vulnerable areas at high risk of flooding and landslides. To date, all boats and ships in the ward have received information about the storm's progress and trajectory and have moved to safe shelters. The ward has also developed plans and scenarios for evacuating residents according to the severity of the storm in vulnerable areas at risk of flooding and landslides.
The People's Committee of Hai Ninh Ward established the Ward's Civil Defense Command Board, assigning specific tasks to its members; and created Zalo groups for timely information sharing, updates, guidance, and direction. We haven't been able to rent a machine yet, so we have to harvest by hand, hoping to get through faster than the storm."
