Yen Bai industrial parks create jobs for over 5,150 workers

Currently, the number of workers working in industrial zones in Yen Bai province is over 5,150 people. Of which, 4,978 are domestic workers; 174 are foreign workers. The average salary of workers in industrial zones is about 6.5 million VND/person/month.

Some units pay salaries at a high level compared to the average of industrial parks in the province such as: Thien An Vietnam Wood Industry Company Limited with about 7.5 million VND/person/month; Vietnam Mineral International Joint Stock Company with an average salary of about 7 million VND/person/month. The number of employees participating in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance reaches 98%.

In general, enterprises have implemented and complied well with the provisions of labor laws such as: Implementing and signing labor contracts with employees, paying employees equal to or higher than the regional minimum wage, participating in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance for employees according to regulations.

It is known that by the end of March 2025, the total number of investment projects in industrial parks in Yen Bai province that have been granted investment policy decisions is 96 projects. Of which, 47 projects have been tested and put into production; 14 projects have started construction and are in the basic construction phase; 35 projects are in the process of completing procedures and have not yet started construction.

Occupancy rate of Southern industrial parks: Area A: 84.96%, Area B + Area C: 100%; Minh Quan Industrial Park is 91.16%; Au Lau Industrial Park is 81.23%.
