Vocational schools in enrollment season

Currently, there are 29 vocational training institutions in the province. In order to recruit enough students according to the assigned plan, schools have flexibly implemented many solutions to attract students to be interested in and choose schools with training blocks and majors that suit their abilities and strengths.

With the vocational training support policy, in recent years, vocational training institutions have affirmed a certain attraction for the segment of students with average academic performance who want to learn a trade early to build a life.

Due to the large number of vocational schools, fierce competition is inevitable, so schools have had many flexible solutions to recruit students. In addition to increasing online propaganda through website platforms, social networks, and mass media, many vocational education institutions have sent recruitment teams directly to localities and general education institutions to provide admissions consultation; coordinated with junior high and high schools to attend parent meetings to introduce and promote the school; organized for students and parents of junior high and high schools in the area and neighboring areas to visit and experience the school...

Through activities to provide direct, specific information to parents and students about enrollment plans, training programs, job prospects, preferential policies... when their children study at the school.

Vinh Phuc College of Technology regularly welcomes delegations of secondary school students from inside and outside the province to visit its facilities.

For example, Vinh Phuc College of Technology has recently organized many receptions for students from secondary schools in Tam Duong, Song Lo, Lap Thach, Tam Dao districts... to visit and tour the school's facilities. Here, students can listen to teachers introduce the training majors, information on recruitment needs of businesses associated with job placement. Thereby, helping students better understand the training blocks and majors, and have orientation to choose career fields that suit their abilities.

Not only focusing on consulting and career guidance for students in the province, Vinh Phuc College of Technology also expands its operations to neighboring provinces and cities such as Phu Tho , Tuyen Quang... to enhance the promotion of the school's image associated with new school year enrollment.

Organizing tours for secondary school students to vocational training facilities helps them to grasp the training professions to make appropriate choices.

Or at the Viet Xo Vocational College No. 1 (Phuc Yen) at this time, it is also actively recruiting with a target of about 800 students/year. Currently, the school is training 10 college-level professions, 14 intermediate-level professions, and 28 elementary-level professions.

It is known that the school is currently cooperating with more than 100 enterprises in recruiting, training and recruiting workers, including many large enterprises such as Honda Vietnam Co., Ltd., Toyota Vietnam Automobile Company, Viet Duc Steel Corporation, etc.

With a total of 29 vocational education institutions, the province currently has 5 colleges, 3 private secondary schools, 12 vocational education centers, 7 vocational education and continuing education centers, 2 other institutions with vocational education activities and 3 universities.

Studying at vocational schools, students are entitled to support policies for elementary vocational education under 3 months (according to Decision No. 46 of the Prime Minister); support for training at intermediate, college, and high-quality college levels (according to Resolution No. 19 of the Provincial People's Council).

The aim of the above policies is to attract human resources, especially high-quality human resources to work in enterprises in the province. The policies contribute to reducing difficulties for students and new graduates to work, encourage them to study high-quality programs, create conditions for enterprises in the province to access, recruit and use high-quality human resources to serve production; support vocational training for self-employed workers, self-finding new jobs and developing existing jobs to increase income and stabilize life.

Thanks to efforts in enrollment, in the 2024-2025 school year, the province has more than 41,000 students registered to participate in vocational training at vocational education institutions at college, intermediate and elementary levels, mainly in the fields of industrial electricity, automotive technology, refrigeration and air conditioning engineering, etc.

In the 2025-2026 school year, vocational training institutions in the province strive to enroll students at a rate equal to or higher than the previous school year, associated with promoting job creation to effectively serve the province's industrialization and modernization, increasingly better meet the needs of investors and employers, promote socio-economic development and expand the social security net.
