Cam Pha: Many attractive new tourism products

Promoting and stimulating tourism demand by innovating and organizing vibrant cultural and spiritual tourism activities and festivals, along with realizing new tourism products... is the focus of Cam Pha tourism's efforts in 2025.

To lay the groundwork for this goal, Cam Pha City has actively invested in beautifying landscapes and historical sites, as well as expanding tourism areas to Bai Tu Long Bay. “Thanks to this, in 2025, Cam Pha will continue to promote activities to stimulate demand and develop new tourism products. In particular, revitalizing cultural and spiritual tourism, and expanding the space to promote beach tourism products… are two of many important tasks,” shared Mr. Bui Hai Son, Head of the Culture and Information Department of Cam Pha City.

Accordingly, from the beginning of 2025, Cam Pha City will organize vibrant spiritual tourism, cultural and sports activities, with a focus on further improving the quality of resort, spiritual, and entertainment tourism products; expanding tourism spaces; and realizing tourism products connecting Bai Tu Long Bay with Ha Long Bay.

Cam Pha City is focusing on connecting tours and scenic spots in Bai Tu Long Bay with Ha Long Bay, creating new experiences for tourists.

First and foremost, Cam Pha City focuses on investing in and restoring the value of historical relics. Recently, the city has restored the annual Cam Hai communal house festival and revived the Cong Hoa communal house festival. The Cua Ong Temple festival organizes many new cultural and sports activities such as calligraphy, human chess, etc.

One of the main driving forces is the significant investment in key historical sites. For the Cua Ong Temple, a special national historical site, the city has implemented a detailed planning project for the Cua Ong Temple, with a budget exceeding 300 billion VND; and renovated the Ca Temple, with over 15 billion VND from socialized funding. Using various resources, the city has also renovated the Cam Hai communal house complex with a total investment of over 10 billion VND; coordinated with coal industry units to effectively manage the site commemorating President Ho Chi Minh's visit to the Deo Nai mine; renovated the Cam Pha Coal Mining historical site (Cam Tay ward) with a total investment of 15 billion VND, as well as paying attention to the regular restoration, preservation, and repair of other historical sites… Currently, Cam Pha also has 40 intangible cultural heritage sites inventoried and recognized, and 5 folk art clubs...

Regarding the expansion of tourism space towards the sea, realizing and connecting with the two localities of Ha Long and Van Don, Cam Pha continuously coordinates with the Department of Tourism, the Department of Transport and other relevant agencies to survey tours and routes; assess the current situation and infrastructure... At the same time, the city also conducts research and reviews tourism resources;   Expanding the area by implementing marine aquaculture experiences linked to tourism development; accelerating investment in 3 mooring points in Bai Tu Long Bay...

Thanks to these practical activities, in 2025, Cam Pha will introduce and implement many promotional activities to stimulate tourism and launch new products. The focus will be on a series of strong cultural and spiritual tourism activities such as: the Spring and Autumn Festivals at Cua Ong Temple (March and September 2025); the Cong Hoa Temple Festival (April 2025), the Cam Hai Temple Festival (July 2025), and traditional cultural and artistic activities at the beginning of spring (January 2025)...

In addition, there are many promotional activities such as: activities related to the Art for Climate Festival Ha Long 2025, the OCOP fair, the Beach Music Night to welcome summer 2025 art program, and many other sports and cultural activities in the city.

The Cua Ong Temple complex attracts a large number of tourists who come to visit and participate in the New Year's festival.

In 2025, Cam Pha City will also launch and operate sea routes connecting Bai Tu Long Bay - Ha Long Bay, Cam Pha with Van Don and Ha Long. Based on the approval and announcement of the Provincial People's Committee in July 2024, Cam Pha will focus on launching and operating 4 new routes, including 3 routes within the Bai Tu Long Bay area between Cam Pha and Van Don and 1 route between Bai Tu Long Bay and Ha Long Bay.
