Born and raised in Phinh Ho commune, Tram Tau district, Yen Bai province, Sung A Tua clearly understands the hard life and anxiety of the Mong people here.
With his creativity and intense love for his homeland, he has created a major turning point, successfully building the ancient Shan Tuyet tea brand, bringing his hometown products to e-commerce platforms and conquering demanding international markets.
The early days of overcoming difficulties to build trust
Having spent time studying and working away from home, when he returned, Sung A Tua brought with him a strong determination to change the lives of the villagers.
However, in the first days of promoting production development, he encountered many doubts from the people. People were worried: "Raising chickens and growing vegetables is not difficult, but after making them, who will we sell them to?"
Faced with these concerns, Tua boldly committed to the people: "Everyone just keep raising and growing, I will buy all of your products." Not only was it a promise, he directly fulfilled this commitment by purchasing agricultural products right in the locality.

Mr. Sung A Tua went from house to house to mobilize villagers.
Not stopping at simply purchasing agricultural products, Sung A Tua realized that to develop sustainably, it is necessary to transform digitally, build a systematic brand and bring products to e-commerce platforms.
He self-studied and quickly built social media channels such as TikTok, Facebook, Vlog with the simple name "A Tua Anh Can Bo Xa" to promote the image of his hometown and specialty products of Phinh Ho.
At first, his videos were very simple, clips recording daily work, propaganda sessions to mobilize people at night, and real life images in the village.
But it is also that closeness and sincerity that touches the hearts of viewers, attracting many people to be interested and know more about Phinh Ho.
Determined to bring agricultural products to the international market
Seeing the effectiveness of digital promotion, he decided to go further, establishing the Phinh Ho Shan Tuyet Tea Cooperative, instructing people on how to care for and harvest tea according to technical procedures.
He directly controls product quality, ensuring strict standards, from raw materials, harvesting to preservation and then transportation.
In just 2 years, Phinh Ho Shan Tuyet tea has gone from being a little-known local product to being available on major e-commerce platforms, and more than that, the product has successfully conquered the most demanding international markets such as the US, Japan and Korea.
Talking about the secret to success, Tua emphasized that, in addition to outstanding product quality, sincerity in promotion is the most important factor.
He said: "I always use my real name, real image, real job to create content on social networks. International customers highly appreciate that honesty and transparency."
When Phinh Ho Shan Tuyet tea was first exported to Japan, the partner was very cautious. However, it was Tua's strong commitment, confidence in product quality and clear production process that made the Japanese partner decide to trust him. Since then, the products of his cooperative have spread further and further.
Sung A Tua's journey is not simply a personal story but has become a great source of inspiration for many localities, especially mountainous areas and other ethnic minority areas.
He has proven that digital transformation is not something too lofty or far-fetched, but is completely feasible even in remote areas, if there is enough determination, creativity and perseverance.
"When we started, no one thought that our Shan Tuyet tea would be exported abroad. But I always believed that as long as I was persistent, truly dedicated and transparent, nothing was impossible," Mr. Tua affirmed.
That journey has, is, and will continue to motivate many young people in the highlands, encouraging them to be more confident in utilizing technology, changing their production mindset, and finding new markets, contributing to sustainable local economic development.
