Ho Chi Minh City University of Law: Convert 28 transcript points to 24 graduation points
On the afternoon of July 24, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law announced the floor score and conversion formula equivalent to high school graduation exam scores.
The floor score of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law is from 16 to 22, depending on the major as follows:
The school determines the equivalent conversion of high school graduation exam scores with other methods, including considering the transcripts of students from 149 priority high schools and considering transcripts combined with international certificates according to the formula: y = x - k
For example, a candidate's high school transcript score according to subject combination D01 is 28.0 (x = 28.0); the difference between the high school transcript score and the high school graduation exam score according to subject combination D01 is 4.0 points (k = 4.0). Applying the equivalent score conversion formula in section a above, the subject combination score of the high school transcript after being converted to the subject combination score of the high school graduation exam of this candidate is as follows:
y = x - k = 28.0 - 4.0 = 24.0
This means that a candidate with a score of 28.0 in the D01 subject combination (Math, Literature, English) of the high school transcript will be equivalent to 24.0 points in the high school graduation exam.
With the method of considering by V-SAT exam scores, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law applies the conversion of each subject score to the equivalent of high school graduation exam scores according to the formula:
