The highlight of the project is the 13-storey tower, inside which is a rare jade Buddha. This is the most unique jade statue of Emperor Tran Nhan Tong in Vietnam. The statue is made from a block of jade originating from the Cassiar Mountains (Canada) and was brought to reside at the Phuc Son Pagoda tower.
Over the years, the pagoda has become a meaningful pilgrimage destination, a place for Buddhist activities of Buddhists inside and outside the province; a place to organize summer retreats and ethics classes for young people in the area.
The ceremony to enshrine Buddha's relics not only has profound cultural and spiritual significance but also affirms the role of Phuc Son Pagoda in the work of preserving, maintaining and promoting the value of Vietnamese Buddhist cultural heritage.
At the same time, it is an opportunity for the province to promote and introduce the image of the land and people of Bac Giang , who love peace, solidarity, friendliness and compassion.
