The Panasonic Lumix S5IIX has the same new 24.2MP Full-Frame sensor as the S5II, dual ISO and 5-axis image stabilization. The camera's focus system is up to 779 points. The camera will be able to shoot 6K/30fps video in 3:2 and 5.9K (16:9 ~ 5888 x 3312) frames at 30fps (23.98fps and 25fps) and 4K/60fps.
For 4.1K (17:9 ~ 4128 x 2176) crop (APS-C) video, the S5IIX is capable of 12-bit video recording at up to 60fps, or 3.5K (4:3 ~ 3536 x 2656) at 30fps. The device can record 120fps in 1080p format.
As for sound, when using the available microphone, you can record 48kHz/24bit, or use a separate mic with a 3.5mm port.
Compared to its brother S511, S5IIX has some improvements such as: 4K/60p 10-bit 422 ALL-I (crop), 4K/30p 10-bit 422 ALL-I (no crop), 5.8K/30fps ProRes 422 HQ RAW video to SSD, Blackmagic RAW (BRAW) support, 4K/60p wired streaming, FHD/60p wireless streaming.
Currently, the specific selling price of the product has not been announced by Panasonic.
