HDBank affirms its position with a series of ESG, foreign exchange and international payment awards

Continuing to affirm its pioneering role in implementing ESG strategy, on July 15, HDBank was honored for the third consecutive time in the Top 50 Outstanding Sustainable Development Enterprises in Vietnam voted by Nhip Cau Dau Tu Magazine.

The award recognizes HDBank 's efforts in integrating Environmental (E), Social (S), and Governance (G) factors into its operational strategy, with a focus on long-term, efficient, and sustainable development.

Over the years, HDBank has implemented concrete action programs: expanding its green credit portfolio, prioritizing renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, and high technology sectors. From 2019 to the present, the bank has disbursed more than VND 31,000 billion for green projects, supporting Vietnam's transition to a green economy .

Furthermore, HDBank is one of the first banks to apply a comprehensive environmental and social risk management system (ESMS) in its lending activities. 100% of corporate loans in the category with environmental impact are reviewed and classified according to international standards, with expert advice to ensure transparent and responsible use of funds.

Affirming its pioneering role, HDBank is one of the first banks in Vietnam to publish a Sustainable Development Report according to international standards, and has also established an ESG Committee under the Board of Directors to enhance the capacity to direct and monitor the implementation of the sustainable development strategy throughout the system.

For the third consecutive year, HDBank has been honored in the Top 50 Outstanding Sustainable Development Enterprises in Vietnam.

This award further affirms HDBank's position as a modern, pioneering ESG bank with a long-term vision and a strong commitment to accompanying the prosperous development of the Vietnamese community and economy.

Also on this occasion, HDBank was honored by the international organization The Global Economics (UK) with two international awards: “Best Foreign Exchange Service Provider for Corporate Clients” and “Most Advanced International Money Transfer Program”.

These two awards are a recognition from the international community of HDBank's strong digitalization efforts and continuous improvement in service quality, aiming to provide modern financial solutions according to global standards, effectively serving domestic businesses and international customers with cross-border operations.

In particular, the "Best Corporate Foreign Exchange Bank" award demonstrates HDBank's outstanding capabilities in developing specialized, efficient, and flexible foreign exchange transaction solutions for its customers, especially corporate clients.

In the field of international payments, the "Best Bank for Advanced International Transfer Programs" award reflects HDBank's strong commitment to deploying fast, secure, and efficient cross-border solutions. Thanks to the application of SWIFT GPI technology, customers can track transaction status in real time, shortening transfer times from several days to just minutes or hours. Transactions are supported in multiple currencies and can be easily processed through various channels: at the counter, Internet Banking, and the digital banking application.

These prestigious domestic and international awards once again affirm HDBank's pioneering position on its journey towards sustainable development, strong digitalization, and international integration, while demonstrating its commitment to accompanying customers, the community, and the Vietnamese economy towards a green and prosperous future.
