At the same time, solve the land use needs of organizations and individuals to invest in socio -economic development of Can Tho City; solve housing needs, improve the housing quality of the people.

Accordingly, the total number of land lots put up for auction is 14 (including 4 unauctioned land lots in 2023 carried over), with a total area of ​​238,323.36 m2.

Auction time is 2024. In case the land auctions are not successfully conducted by the end of 2024, the City Land Fund Development Center is responsible for reporting, clarifying the causes, implementation solutions and proposing a handling plan in accordance with regulations.

The People's Committee of Can Tho City assigned the City Land Fund Development Center to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Justice to announce the plan and list of land plots subject to land use rights auction in 2024 on the National Land Use Rights Auction Information Portal according to the provisions of Point a, Clause 5, Article 125 of the 2024 Land Law; at the same time, based on current regulations, implement procedures and organize land use rights auctions to ensure compliance with legal regulations.

The Department of Natural Resources and Environment shall preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to be responsible for the legality and accuracy of the dossier, the consistency between the plans (Can Tho City Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, vision to 2050, Can Tho City Master Plan to 2030, vision to 2050, Zoning Plan,...) and Land Use Plan for land plots auctioned for land use rights; at the same time, coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs to review the consistency of the functions and tasks of the City Land Fund Development Center in continuing to organize the auction of land plots assigned for management in accordance with current laws.
