Can Tho: Awarding Luong Dinh Cua scholarships worth nearly 2 billion VND

Can Tho City Association for the Promotion of Education has just coordinated with Soc Trang Lottery Company Limited to organize the 2025 Luong Dinh Cua scholarship awarding ceremony with the theme "Learning never ends".

Ms. Ho Thi Cam Dao, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City awarded Luong Dinh Cua scholarships for 2025.

At the ceremony, the Can Tho City Association for the Promotion of Education awarded scholarships to 177 students from Phu Loi and Soc Trang wards (representing over 1,000 students) who overcame difficulties in their studies and achieved high academic results in the 2024-2025 school year.

Of these, there are 761 "encouragement of learning" scholarships, each worth 1 - 1.5 million VND; 186 "encouragement of talent" scholarships for excellent students at all levels and excellent students at the provincial level (each worth 3 - 4 million VND) and students who passed the High School Graduation Exam with the highest score (worth 20 million VND/scholarship).

Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee Nguyen Van Khoi awarded Luong Dinh Cua scholarships to students who overcame difficulties to study well.

In addition, the organizing committee also awarded 24 scholarships (each worth 2 million VND) to adults with outstanding learning spirit in the "Learning Family" and 40 scholarships for the "Helping Children Go to School" program worth 10 million VND each.

The total amount awarded this time is over 1.98 billion VND, sponsored by Soc Trang Lottery Company Limited.
