Gia Lai: Road leading to bridge collapsed, cutting off Truong Son Dong road

On the morning of November 7, Mr. Ha Anh Thai, Deputy Director of Gia Lai Department of Construction, said that at about 1:00 a.m. the same day, due to heavy rain, a 20m landslide occurred on the road leading to Kliec bridge (section passing through Po To commune), paralyzing the road and cutting off traffic.

Currently, the authorities have blocked off and cordoned off the collapsed road area to ensure the safety of people and vehicles.

This is the route connecting Po To commune and Cho Long commune, so there is a large volume of traffic. This incident has seriously affected the traffic of people in the area through National Highway 19.

On the morning of November 7, according to Ngoc Hoi Traffic Police Station (Traffic Police Department of Quang Ngai Province), this morning, Lo Xo Pass section through Dak Plo Commune was reopened to traffic. Previously, on the evening of November 6, a landslide occurred in the Lo Xo Pass area, causing temporary traffic congestion on the route.
