
Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Pham Thi Thuy Ha Ward said that in response to the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind", the Fund "For the Poor" of the ward has always received the attention and direction of the Party Committee, the government and the companionship of agencies, businesses, philanthropists and people inside and outside the area.

In the last 6 months of 2025, the ward mobilized more than 500 million VND for the "For the Poor" Fund. This fund was used to build and repair solidarity houses, support livelihoods, award Nguyen Huu Tho scholarships, health insurance cards, care for orphans and give Tet gifts to poor households and workers in difficult circumstances.

At the ceremony, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward presented funds for house repairs, means of livelihood, health insurance cards, bicycles and school supplies... to near-poor households, households in difficult circumstances, and students in special circumstances, with a total support fund of nearly 200 million VND.

Among the households receiving livelihoods, Mrs. Pham Thi Kim Lan (born in 1967) was moved when receiving a sugarcane juice cart. Her husband is a war invalid and in poor health; she herself is also in poor health, having worked for many years as an onion peeler to support her two grandchildren. Mrs. Lan shared: “I am very happy, I have a stable means of making a living, I will try to take care of my husband and grandchildren.”


On this occasion, Tan My ward announced the establishment of 5 social monitoring and criticism teams in neighborhoods, monitoring environmental sanitation, education , security and order, and grassroots democracy.
Launching the Peak Month "For the Poor" in 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan My ward aims to mobilize maximum social resources so that no one is left behind, well preparing for the work of taking care of the Lunar New Year Binh Ngo 2026.
