Many meaningful activities in "National Unity Day"

On the morning of October 31, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lai Thieu Ward (HCMC) organized the "National Solidarity Day" associated with the launch of the "For the Poor" Peak Month in 2025.

This meaningful activity is organized as part of a series of events of Lai Thieu ward to welcome the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, term 2025 - 2030.

Speaking at the launching ceremony of the “For the Poor” Peak Month, Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lai Thieu Ward, called on cadres, party members, union members, association members, businesses and people to join hands to care for poor households, near-poor households and vulnerable people; contributing to building Lai Thieu Ward “Civilized - affectionate - sustainable development”.

Socio -political organizations launch meaningful models

Lai Thieu Ward also launched meaningful projects, such as: Women's Union with "Blooming Alley - Clean House, Beautiful Garden", Youth Union with "Connecting Green Hearts", Veterans Association with the model "Exemplary Veterans - Accompanying the Alley of Love".

Meanwhile, the Red Cross also impressed with the models "Zero-dong kitchen" and "Charity eye surgery", and the Association for the Elderly with the program "Joining hands to take care of the elderly's health".

In her speech, Ms. Ong Thuy Hoang Mai, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee, acknowledged and commended the spirit of solidarity and affection of the Fatherland Front system and mass organizations, and at the same time proposed to continue replicating good models, contributing to the goal of "Leaving no one behind".

On this occasion, the Fatherland Front of the ward presented the symbolic board of the “For the Poor” Fund to 15 neighborhoods. Announced and presented the board of implementation of projects and tasks to connect the community such as: Construction and repair of the Great Unity House; model of “Loving Neighborhood - No Plastic Waste”; “Green - Clean - Bright - Safe Alley”.
