The conference aimed to promote and advance digital transformation among all city officials, civil servants, and employees, as well as among businesses and citizens. The conference reviewed outstanding achievements in Can Tho City's digital transformation efforts; participating units also introduced prominent digital transformation platforms. These included the Can Tho City Spatial Planning Platform (SPP); the Flood Risk Management Information System (FRMIS) and the Flood Control and Information Management System (SCADA); and the launch of the Can Tho City Mass Open Online Learning Platform (MOOCs).

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc He requested that agencies, units, localities, and businesses continue to spread the message of the National Digital Transformation Day and the Can Tho City Digital Transformation Day; launch emulation movements in response to the National Digital Transformation Day in 2024; and continue to organize community digital technology teams to disseminate and support people in using digital products and services. He also emphasized the need to promote the implementation of open online learning platforms on a large scale, which contribute to raising awareness among digital transformation workers and saving time and resources; urban spatial planning platforms (aiming to develop integrated spatial data infrastructure for the city to reduce flood risks in the central urban area); flood risk management information systems (FRMIS - under Project 3); and flood information management systems…
