According to Buon Ma Thuot City Police, at 10:45 a.m. on February 14, at the intersection between Phan Chu Trinh and Dang Thai Mai streets, next to house number 261 Phan Chu Trinh street, Tan Loi ward, Buon Ma Thuot city, Mr. Vo Tran Hoang Quoc Trung, born in 2000, residing on Pham Van Dong street, Tan Hoa ward, Buon Ma Thuot city, self-employed, driving a motorbike with license plate 47B2-236.36 on Phan Chu Trinh street from Tran Nhat Duat street to Nguyen Dinh Chieu street, collided with a motorbike with license plate 47AD-060.86 driven by two young men of unknown identity traveling on Dang Thai Mai street from Xuan Dieu street to Phan Chu Trinh street.

After the collision caused Mr. Trung and his car to fall onto the road, although there was no damage to people or property, two unidentified young men kicked Mr. Trung many times, leading to his hospitalization at the Central Highlands General Hospital for examination and treatment, while the two young men got into the car and left. The incident was recorded by a camera and then posted on Facebook, causing outrage and indignation among the public .

According to the leader of Buon Ma Thuot City Police, after the incident occurred, the City Police went to the scene to investigate and verify the incident.
