Warning of scams impersonating the "Million Steps of Kindness" Campaign

On the afternoon of May 13, the Vietnam Red Cross Society warned about fraud and impersonation of the "Million Steps of Kindness" Campaign to call for donations and fundraise.

The "Million Steps of Kindness" campaign organized by the Vietnam Red Cross Society on the vRace platform ended on April 28, 2025, and the award ceremony for outstanding collectives and individuals took place on May 8, 2025, within the framework of the National Humanitarian Month Launching Ceremony 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City.

However, currently, there are some fanpages impersonating the Campaign name to call for donations and fundraise. These are fraudulent pages, not affiliated with the Vietnam Red Cross.

The Vietnam Red Cross Society recommends that people be vigilant and not transfer money or provide personal information to unofficial sites.
