The content of impersonation and taking advantage of the name of the above-mentioned state agency is intended to defraud people and affect the reputation of the center - a unit under the Department of Health . The Department of Health affirmed that the content on the Facebook page about the Provincial Center for Social Protection and Social Work opening a "Boarding Class for the Elderly" is not true.
To improve the effectiveness of preventing and combating fraud crimes in cyberspace in the coming time, the Department of Health requested the Provincial Police to direct the police units and localities to step up the work of grasping the situation, strictly managing activities related to fraud crimes and appropriation of property; launching peak attacks and suppressing fraud crimes and appropriation of property, especially in cyberspace; promptly investigating, prosecuting, and handling acts of fraud and appropriation of property; receiving and resolving denunciations and reports of crimes, recommending prosecution, especially sources of information related to fraud crimes and appropriation of property in cyberspace.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism directs and guides news agencies, newspapers and grassroots information systems in the province to strengthen information and propaganda work on methods, tricks, consequences of crimes and violations of the law related to fraudulent activities to appropriate property, prevention and handling results of functional forces so that people can raise awareness, promptly provide information, and denounce fraudulent acts; strengthen management of advertising content posted on newspapers and online environments; regularly exchange and provide information to specialized officers to receive and handle false advertising information provided by the Department of Health to promptly take measures to manage, prevent and eliminate advertising content such as the above case.
The Department of Health also requested Khanh Hoa Newspaper, Radio and Television to open special pages, columns, and news points to propagate the fight against cybercrime with vivid content and forms, attracting all classes of people and all ages to follow; regularly inform and propagate about methods, tricks, and consequences of cybercrime, prevention, and handling results of functional forces, helping the masses to raise awareness, vigilance, and promptly provide information and denounce fraudulent activities of property appropriation.
For the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones, pay attention to implementing social security policies well, strengthening the prevention of crimes and violations of the law, social evils in general and fraud and property appropriation crimes in particular; organize propaganda on preventing and combating crimes in cyberspace for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers; instruct 100% of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to actively propagate to friends, relatives and people in their place of residence through many forms; share propaganda information on preventing and combating crimes in cyberspace from official sources through social networking platforms...
