Several fake fan pages impersonating Tuoi Tre newspaper have appeared on Facebook, with some even running fraudulent advertisements for cryptocurrency exchanges.

Recently, many readers have reported the appearance of several fan pages on Facebook bearing the names of Tuoi Tre newspaper or Tuoi Tre Online .

It has been noted that these pages all use the same logo, font style, and text color as Tuoi Tre newspaper, which can easily mislead readers if they don't check carefully.

Some pages even have spelling errors right from the page name. There's even a fan page running ads for the cryptocurrency exchange Binance, offering a $150 bonus for using Binance Desktop… These are all fake fan pages impersonating Tuoi Tre Online newspaper.

Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online , a Binance spokesperson confirmed: “We would like to confirm that this advertisement is not an official announcement from Binance. The link in the advertisement is unclear and unrelated to Binance. We have verified that the advertisement in question is fake.”

A Binance representative also strongly advised the public to "not click on any links or download any applications from unverified sources and to always be wary of online scams."

Tuổi Trẻ Online reported several fake fan pages to the Meta platform. These pages have now been removed from Facebook.
