Warning 2 Vinh University experts 'seducing female students'

On June 24, information from the General Administration Department, Vinh University ( Nghe An ) said that, regarding the case of two specialists of this school being accused of "seducing female students", the school's Disciplinary Council decided to discipline Mr. Dinh Xuan Duc, specialist, assistant student management and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Quyen, specialist, Head of the one-stop department of the General Administration Department.

Previously, a Facebook account posted on the Vinh University Student Group accusing a school specialist of inappropriate behavior when a female student of K65 came to request to withdraw her transcript for notarization.

Accordingly, when the female student arrived as scheduled, Mr. Quyen had inappropriate behavior and words, exceeding the limit towards the student.

After the article was published and shared, Vinh University temporarily suspended Mr. Quyen from work to verify the incident.

A few days later, another account continued to post another article on this group, along with a screenshot of a text message, to accuse another specialist, Mr. Dinh Xuan Duc, the school's student management assistant, of also exceeding the limit with students.

According to this female student, at the end of last semester, she was disciplined and had to meet Mr. Duc to resolve the issue. For a month, the female student continuously received calls and "seductive" messages from Mr. Duc.

A leader of the General Administration Department, Vinh University, said that after the incident was discovered, Mr. Duc and Mr. Quyen sincerely admitted their mistakes and realized that the incident had negatively affected the reputation of the school.
