To ensure the safe operation of water discharge from Nam Mo hydropower reservoir in accordance with the approved single-reservoir and inter-reservoir procedures on the Ca River basin, Nghe An Energy Development Corporation plans to discharge water from Nam Mo hydropower reservoir as follows:

Estimated time of water discharge through spillway: 20:00, June 21, 2025.
The total discharge is expected to be about 140m3 /s to 250m3 /s (including discharge through spillway gates and generator sets, sand discharge sluices) and may vary depending on the water flow to the lake.
Estimated time to end water discharge through spillway: Until water flow to the lake drops below 140 m3 /s.
The Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Disaster Prevention informs: Ky Son District People's Committee and heads of provincial departments, branches and sectors, Road Management Area II to inform authorities at all levels, agencies, units, investors who are constructing along the river, on the river, owners of water transport vehicles and all people in the area downstream of Nam Mo Hydropower Plant to know and deploy necessary work, ensuring the safety of life and property of the State and the People.
Then, at 5:30 p.m. on June 21, 2025, the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense received Notice No. 04/TB-NMNN dated June 21, 2025 from Nam Mo and Nam Non Hydropower Joint Stock Company on the discharge of water from Ban Ang Hydropower Reservoir, Xa Luong Commune, Tuong Duong District.
To ensure the safe operation of water discharge from Ban Ang Hydropower Reservoir in accordance with the approved single-reservoir and inter-reservoir procedures on the Ca River basin and the hydrological situation at the project, Nam Mo and Nam Non Hydropower Joint Stock Company plans to discharge water from Ban Ang Hydropower Reservoir as follows:

Estimated time of water discharge: 9:30 p.m. on June 21, 2025.
The total discharge is expected to be approximately 200m3 /s to 500m3 /s (including discharge through spillway gates and generator sets) and may vary depending on the water flow to the lake.
Estimated time to completely discharge water through the spillway gates: When the water flow to the lake is less than the power generation flow through the generators.
The Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Disaster Prevention informs: Tuong Duong District People's Committee and heads of provincial departments, branches and sectors, Road Management Area II to inform authorities at all levels, agencies, units, investors who are constructing along the river, on the river, owners of water transport vehicles and all people in the downstream area of Ban Ang Hydropower Plant to know and deploy necessary work, ensuring safety of life and property of the State and People./.
