One day before the K - Star Spark In Vietnam - Mega Concert 2025 officially exploded at My Dinh Stadium ( Hanoi ), the black market ticket market is becoming more vibrant than ever, with an unexpected development: Many tickets are being sold below the original price.
The event brings together famous artists such as G-Dragon, CL, Tempest, tripleS, DPR IAN, and is expected to welcome about 40,000 spectators.
All tickets for the concert were sold out in mid-May, but now many people are reselling tickets at lower prices than the listed price, especially in mid-range ticket categories such as CAT 2 and CAT 3.

In a group specializing in exchanging concert tickets with more than 36,000 members, many accounts posted CAT 1 tickets (original price 3 million VND) for sale at 2.8 million VND (discounted 200,000 VND).
CAT 2 tickets are reduced from 2.9 million VND to 2.2 million VND (a reduction of 700,000 VND), CAT 3 tickets are also being sold for only 1.8 million VND, a reduction of 700,000 VND compared to the original listing (2.5 million VND).
On the contrary, some low-cost fares such as CAT 4 and CAT 5 are offered at prices slightly higher than the original price due to supply not meeting demand.
This deep discount has created an opportunity for many audiences to buy tickets at the last minute. Ngoc Mai (20 years old, Ha Dong) said: "I am a big fan of G-Dragon but hesitated because of my tight budget. Luckily, yesterday I bought a CAT 3 ticket for only nearly 1.6 million VND, while the original price was 2.5 million VND (ie only 64% of the original price). I made a profit of nearly 1 million VND, which is considered a promotion to go meet my idol."
Similarly, Thuy Anh (25 years old, Cau Giay, Hanoi) shared: "At first, I didn't plan to go because the ticket price was a bit high. But closer to the date, I saw many people selling it at a cheap price, so I bought a CAT 2 ticket for 2.1 million VND, nearly 800,000 VND cheaper than the original price. Buying it close to the time was considered a profit of nearly a million, and it was the exact seat I wanted."

This situation does not only occur individually but also commonly appears in many groups with tens of thousands of members specializing in buying, selling, and transferring concert tickets.
Ms. Nguyen Hang is one of the ticket sellers on social media. As a G-Dragon fan, not a ticket broker, Ms. Hang said that because she was worried that she wouldn't be able to buy tickets on the opening day because the number of people queuing online on the ticket sales channel was too long, she asked two friends to help her buy tickets.
"I bought 4 tickets, including 2 SVIP tickets (6.5 million VND/ticket) and 2 VIP 2 tickets (5 million VND/ticket). Therefore, I decided to sell 2 VIP 2 tickets. I posted the sale on Facebook and asked friends and relatives to help share since June 18. But I saw "too many" people selling tickets online. It was not until today, June 20, that I was able to sell the tickets, and they were discounted by 1 million VND compared to the original price," said Ms. Hang.
Explaining this phenomenon, experts say that in addition to many people holding large numbers of tickets early to speculate and now being forced to resell them at low prices, another reason is that many audiences were given tickets but were unable to attend close to the date.
Many of these people have decided to sell tickets to those in need, at prices several hundred thousand to millions of dong lower than the original price.

Tickets for the concert are divided into seating categories, with only one standing area (CAT 1). The official listed ticket prices range from 1 million to 6.5 million VND, which many fans consider "affordable" compared to the general level of "super concerts" with big names participating.
However, as the show date nears, the price drop has left many early buyers feeling “lost”. According to analysis, the price drop is largely due to the fact that the initial ticket brokers “held onto” too much stock, and as the date nears, they are forced to accept a lower price to recoup their investment.
In addition to information about ticket price reductions, the official fanpages of G-Dragon and CL (a Korean female singer who also appeared in the show) continuously warned fans about scams related to concert tickets.
Many fake accounts promise early tickets at good prices to entice buyers to transfer money and then disappear. Some fanpages have also spoken out about tricks such as selling fake tickets, sending virtual ticket codes or keeping money without delivering tickets, taking advantage of fans' impatience to profit in the days leading up to the event.
The June 21 event marked G-Dragon's first return to the Vietnamese stage in eight years. He performed in Korea, Japan, the Philippines and Macau, with more than 680,000 spectators according to Billboard.
The fact that Hanoi was chosen as G-Dragon’s next stop has made Vietnamese fans excited for months. However, the ticket trading atmosphere is showing a contrary reality, as many tickets are still being sought to be sold at the last minute.
