From the space displaying the rich history of journalism, to the exhibitions of press documents, press products, and new technology applications, all have vividly demonstrated the journey of development from tradition to modernity, from print, electronic, radio, television to multi-platform journalism, from "pen, paper" to "artificial intelligence and big data"... In the photo, the place displaying the spring newspaper covers of 63 provincial and municipal press agencies.
In the middle of the second floor is the exhibition booth of the People's Army Newspaper. Also at the National Press Festival last year (2024), the Army Press Bloc won the A prize for the best exhibition booth.
Images of President Ho Chi Minh are displayed in many exhibition booths. He was not only a great revolutionary leader but also a great journalist. Since the early years of the 20th century, when he was still working abroad, President Ho Chi Minh soon recognized the role of the press in the revolutionary cause and used the press as a sharp weapon to spread revolutionary ideas, enlighten the masses, and encourage the spirit of fighting for national liberation. In 1925, in Guangzhou (China), he founded Thanh Nien newspaper - the first revolutionary newspaper of Vietnam, written, edited and published by himself.
The period from 1945 to 1975 was a period of strong development of the Vietnamese press, closely associated with two great resistance wars: the Resistance War against French colonialism (1945–1954) and the Resistance War against American imperialism (1954–1975). The pen at that time was full of fighting spirit, encouraging revolutionary spirit and propagating the policies of the Party and State.
The image of the press entering the Era of Rising is also promoted by the Organizing Committee here. The press today is not only a simple communication channel, but also an important force in building a democratic, civilized and internationally integrated society, contributing to orienting public opinion, criticizing policies and promoting innovation, creativity and protecting the Party's ideological foundation.
This year's Press Festival has a separate booth of the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions , where VietNamNet Newspaper participates in exhibiting publications and digital press products, conveying in-depth information about ethnicity, beliefs, and religion.
Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia tries playing gongs at the VietNamNet Newspaper booth. According to Decree 114/2025/ND-CP effective from June 3, 2025, VietNamNet Newspaper officially becomes a public service unit under the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.
Entering the integration era, Vietnamese press has grown strongly, transforming from a traditional model to a modern, multi-platform and global press, contributing to the country's deeper integration into the world. This is a period of both challenges and potential to affirm the position of revolutionary press in the new era.
Tien Phong Newspaper's exhibition booth made a strong impression with the appearance of the Misa Ava robot - a high-tech "cheerleader" integrated with artificial intelligence. This is part of the trend of applying modern technology such as AI, 3D mapping, VR... to create a vivid interactive experience for visitors. This is to contribute to conveying the message that technology is the key for revolutionary journalism to continue to reach new heights in the digital age.
At the booth of Vietnam Beverage Magazine, Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong - Editor-in-Chief shared that the magazine seems new at first but has been established for 25 years, has a staff of only 13 people and is published every 3 months for businesses, ministries, sectors and many individuals across the country.
