In third place was the Ho Chi Minh City delegation with 3 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 7 bronze medals.

Similarly, in the women's category, the athletes from the capital were not far behind, even slightly better, winning a total of 6 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 1 bronze medal. In second place was the Binh Dinh delegation with 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 2 bronze medals, while Nghe An ranked third with 2 gold medals and 1 bronze medal.
Besides traditional strong units such as Hanoi, Army or Ho Chi Minh City, this year's tournament also witnessed the remarkable rise of some emerging localities in the Kickboxing movement such as Bac Giang delegation with 3 gold medals, 1 silver medal and up to 7 bronze medals in the men's category, thereby ranking fourth overall.
Dr. Vu Duc Thinh, President of the Vietnam Kickboxing Federation, commented: "This year's tournament is not only a peak competition but also an opportunity for the sports industry to review the overall development of Kickboxing in localities. The outstanding achievements at the tournament are a true reflection of the effectiveness of training and investment at the grassroots level, thereby helping to orient the long-term development strategy for the sport."
Achievements in the tournament are the basis for the coach to select players for the National Team.
Along with that, the names with many achievements in the Vietnamese Kickboxing village such as Huynh Van Tuan (HCMC), Nguyen Quang Huy and Trieu Thi Phuong Thuy (Hanoi), Bui Thi Yen Nhi (Hau Giang) continue to show stable performance, impressive competition, which is the basis for the Kickboxing Team to have appropriate calculations towards the 33rd SEA Games to be held in Thailand at the end of this year.
"The National Kickboxing Championship is an important tournament to help coaches and experts evaluate professional quality, review the force, test performance and select the best athletes for the National Team, preparing for the 33rd SEA Games" - Dr. Vu Duc Thinh, President of the Vietnam Kickboxing Federation said.
It is known that the outstanding players in this tournament will be called up to the national team, starting from July 1 to prepare for the regional arena.
