At the Sanvinest Khanh Hoa Bird's Nest Raw Material Processing Factory (Song Cau Industrial Park, Khanh Vinh District) under Khanh Hoa Bird's Nest Beverage Joint Stock Company, there are more than 200 employees. In recent years, the labor safety and hygiene work at the factory has always been carried out by the unit's leaders in accordance with the provisions of law. Along with that, the factory's Union has established a Safety and Hygiene Team to daily inspect and supervise labor safety and hygiene, labor regulations. Annually, the Union coordinates with the unit to organize 2 health check-ups to promptly detect occupational diseases for employees. Every day, the Union supervises the provision of labor protection equipment; builds the working environment and landscape. At the same time, mobilizes the unit to sign collective labor agreements; supports shift meals at a rate of more than 30,000 VND/person/meal for employees. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh - a factory worker shared: "The working conditions and environment at the factory are quite airy and safe. The salary and bonus policies and support regimes for meals, rest, labor protection, etc. are well implemented by the company and the Union, so everyone feels secure at work."

Currently, Hai Nam Company Limited (Dien Phu Industrial Park, Dien Khanh District) has more than 400 employees. As a unit operating in the field of packaging printing, the work of occupational safety and health is always carried out quite well by the enterprise. The company's Trade Union always promotes its responsibility in caring for and building a safe working environment for union members and employees. Every year, the Trade Union coordinates to organize training courses on occupational safety and hygiene, providing adequate protective equipment for workers. Ms. Le Thi Hoang Ngoc Huyen - Vice President of the Trade Union of Hai Nam Company Limited said that in the company's development strategy, the unit always puts the safety of workers first. Therefore, the unit always focuses on implementing occupational safety and health in a synchronous and serious manner. The company regularly invests in upgrading factories, applying new technology in production to limit impacts on workers; creating a comfortable and safe working environment for workers. Along with that, the unit also creates conditions for the Union to operate, promotes the role of taking care of union members, and supervises the implementation of policies for employees. 100% of workers when coming to work at the factory are equipped with standard labor protection, have knowledge, and are aware of complying with safe labor regulations. The enterprise also proactively signs and implements collective labor agreements to increase benefits for workers. To ensure the health of workers, the company increases the daily meal allowance to 35,000 VND/person/meal; in addition, there are refreshments to serve workers during breaks...

Contribute to improving the working environment

According to Ms. Tran Thi Huong - Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor, currently, the province has 1,482 grassroots unions with more than 91,758 union members and employees. To contribute to building a safe working environment and harmonious labor relations in units and enterprises, unions at all levels have proactively grasped the thoughts and aspirations of union members and employees; coordinated with employers to organize employee conferences and dialogues every 3 months for employees to reflect, recommend and propose problems in production, business activities and the working environment. From there, enterprises promptly handle and overcome problems to ensure safety for employees. Along with that, the Union always closely monitors the implementation of legal regulations on occupational safety and health. At the same time, negotiate with enterprises to sign collective labor agreements, focusing on contents outside the provisions of the law, bringing material and spiritual benefits to employees. According to statistics, up to now, 486 enterprises with trade unions have signed collective labor agreements, reaching 87.5%; most enterprises with trade unions organize annual tourism and resort activities for employees.

In addition, the Union at all levels has also launched and disseminated the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers", the movement "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and health"; thereby attracting a large number of employees to participate, promoting initiatives and experiences to overcome the limitations of equipment, machinery and working environment. Union at all levels also organize activities to collect waste, improve the environment, plant flowers and ornamental plants to create a green, clean and beautiful environment in the workplace. Notably, up to now, 80% of enterprises with Union organizations have established a network of occupational safety and health officers with nearly 3,000 people. All occupational safety and health officers participate in occupational safety and health training courses and are responsible for urging, reminding and supervising the implementation of occupational safety and health standards, regulations, processes and regulations by employees every day before entering the factory. Every year, the Union also organizes many competitions and practical exercises on fire prevention, fire fighting, occupational safety and health, etc. Thereby, helping employees raise awareness and always grasp knowledge in ensuring occupational safety and health. In May 2025 alone, the online contest "Learn about occupational safety and health" organized by the Provincial Federation of Labor had 12,631 union members participating. Through the contest, it contributes to improving knowledge and skills in complying with regulations and working procedures to ensure occupational safety and health at the workplace, implementing solutions to prevent and minimize risks of occupational accidents and diseases for employees. In addition, many grassroots unions of enterprises have proactively built a model of "Occupational safety corner" at the workplace to propagate, mobilize and raise awareness of safe working for employees, etc.
